The idea of something old and ancient, some hidden processes, is embodied in this painting.
 
This abstract painting is made with acrylic on canvas. The created texture resembles a net or tree roots hidden under the ground. Different shades of black and white made it possible to spectacularly emphasize the texture and create the effect of aged surface. This painting is covered with satin lacquer which makes this effect even more noticeable.
 
Size of the work: 70 x 70 x 2 cm; gallery stretched canvas is mounted on wooden stretcher frame. The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame.
