ASHWOOD KAVANNA

No one was more surprised than Ashwood Kavanna when his piece "Andy Warhol's Velvet Underground" appeared at the Whitney Museum (NYC), in an exhibit curated by the Tate (England) that toured worldwide: the Kunsthalle Schirn (Frankfurt), the Kunsthalle Wien (Vienna) & others with art by Jimi Hendrix (his own known painting), Andy Warhol, Richard Avedon, Isaac Abrams, & others.

The press said,

"...this exhibits extraordinary bursts of creativity, energy and revolution in design techniques"

"...among the important works of an era"

Self-taught, as he is in music & law, having passed the New York State Bar without a law degree in a self-designed study program, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Babson College in three years and plays all the brass horns & electric bass.
